“The 2019 Valtellina Superiore Grumello is packed with intense savory and mineral notes. Time in the glass brings out scents of dried rose petal, chalk, sage, cured meats, mint and blood orange. This reticent, virile Valtellina Nebbiolo could use a year or two in bottle to soften. It’s a pretty serious wine, that much is pretty clear."
