Andis Description
95% Zinfandel, 5% Barbera. Sourced from several old vine vineyards throughout the Sierra Foothills AVA to capture the essence of various soil types, elevations, and microclimates. We compose a Zinfandel very similar to what was likely produced here during the California Gold Rush of the 1800s. Concentrated aromas of black pepper, plum, and coffee bean. Its luxe mouthfeel is a focused study of black fruit and supple tannins.

This big, full-bodied Zin offers a mouthful of chewy tannins that feel purposeful and balanced because of the excellent fruit concentration and well-integrated oak character. Its engaging aromas and flavors recall blackberry, black cherry, black plum, chocolate, star anise and tobacco. Pair this with a juicy burger. (Veggie and vegan burgs will work too!)
