"The single-vineyard 2021 Finca El Foro comes from a field blend of five varieties at 600 meters in altitude: 60% Garnacha, 30% Mazuelo and 10% other varieties (Viura, Garnacha Gris, Miguel de Arco) fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in used French oak barrels for 20 months. It has a different nose with notes of soy sauce, licorice, earth and flowers. It has 14.5% alcohol with mellow acidity despite the cooler year. The tannins are fine and give it a chalky finish. 2,243 bottles were filled in October 2022." - Luis Gutierrez
