Bedrock Wine Co was founded in 2007 by Morgan Twain-Peterson in a 550 square-foot, former chicken coop with 8 foot ceilings and no fermentation space. Morgan is the son of the legendary Joel Peterson who founded Ravenswood in Sonoma. Morgan grew up in the winery working with his Dad and made his first batch of wine at age five (called Vino Bambino)! Since the launch of Bedrock, Morgan's wines have become increasingly in-demand with high ratings from all over the critical spectrum. He makes Zinfandel, of course, but his calling is the blends where he uses a generous amount of Syrah. Well, here we have some of that Syrah in all of its glory! Well, with 10% Viognier just to make it even sexier!
And what a ridiculous value this is... declassified fruit from the famed vineyards of Hudson, Griffin’s Lair, Alder Springs, Walker Vine Hill, Bedrock and more! You'll pay $50+ for a bottle of Syrah from any of those vineyards, and many won't even touch this quality. Supply is limited so, as the winery says, "Back up the truck!"
