"The single-vineyard red 2021 Torralvo is ripe at 15.1% alcohol and fairly oaky, still marked by the élevage of 18 months in new and used French and American oak barrels. It's showy, juicy, full-bodied, structured and powerful but with more polished tannins than some previous vintages. Ripe and oaky, this is for fans of the style. 8,870 bottles and 250 magnums produced. It was bottled in September 2023."

Ripe, plush fruit and spices with hints of dark chocolate and pine cones. Full-bodied and flavorful on the palate with threads of nicely chewy tannins. Long and tight finish. (92 points 2020 vintage)
