What to say here? Look, this is simply stunning NV Brut. Rich’s favorite. Mine too! I agree with importer Terry Theise when he asks, “I mean, who has better NV Brut than this???” This has long been a favorite, and – finally! – it is available to us on a regular basis!
I will have to take the expert’s word that, “I believe that Alexandre Chartogne is the most exciting young producer in Champagne.”
I like the style for my table… 65% Pinot Noir for a bit more weight and power… yet in the skilled hands of Alexandre Chartogne, the grape is transformed into a model of elegance and laser-focused flavors.
