DeLille Cellars is one of the pillars of Washington State’s blossoming wine industry. Founded by four friends in 1992 with a focus on single vineyard cuvees from Columbia Valley’s Red Mountain AVA, Delille is recognized today as one of America’s top producers. So much so that Robert Parker dubbed them as “the Lafite Rothschild of Washington State”! DeLille’s consistent critical acclaim is quite staggering, numerous Top 100 list placements, and five Wine & Spirits Top 100 Wineries of the World accolades. DeLille’s top wines regularly retail for $90-$160+ a bottle! A red blend of this kind of caliber from a top estate at sub $20 is what we call a “no-brainer”. These Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon type blends seem to have become the signature of the Columbia Valley over the years and DeLille takes it to the next level with this impressive Metier bottling. A blend of 55% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Malbec, 8-10 days on the skins followed by fermentation in tank then ageing in French oak barrels (8% new). Bold aromas of blueberries and black cherries with cocoa nibs, coffee, and smoky spices on the nose. Rich dark fruit flavors follow, there’s remarkable depth, great structure and a long spice laced finish. A cold winter night type red, kick back and enjoy to warm the soul. You can expect this gem to age gracefully for another five years or more.

Vinous Media: 91 Points
"Sweet florals and ripe fruits leap from the glass, but the palate of this wine is made in an approachable style at an approachable price point. The palate offers freshness to balance the ripe fruits, clove, liquorice, a wack of dried herbs and a dash of white pepper." – Eric Guido
Wine Spectator: 90 Points
"Zesty and full of spices, this red offers snappy cherry, espresso, smoky herb and licorice flavors that end with perky tannins. Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Drink now through 2031. 7,325 cases made."
