Dragonette Description
This wine is tightly coiled, with powerful minerals from the clay and river rock soils, and deeply concentrated from extremely low yields. Melons and stone fruits are held aloft by citrus, minerals, excellent acidity and the structure from the new oak barrels.

"“Such a satisfying Sauvignon Blanc with a plethora of bright aromas and flavours of poached pear, apricot skin, white peach, and nectarine. A wonderful medium-bodied richness builds from 16 months of ageing on the lees (but no stirring) and ageing 100% in mostly neutral cigar barrels. Oyster shell minerality and white floral notes add nuance, and a creamy lactic note lingers on the palate, a bit leesy, resolving with a delicate, chalky mineral tension balanced by graceful acidity. Native yeast, barrel fermentation. These are among the finest Sauvignon Blanc wines being produced in America." 94 pts for 2022
