"Smoke, exotic spices and dried Mediterranean scrub for a showy, savoury aromatic wine. The palate is loaded with rooibos tea, smoky clove, white pepper and mouthfuls of juicy blue and black bramble fruits. It's a touch feral and ferrous, but its 100% enjoyable. For under $50, this wine is very, very impressive."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills is pretty on the nose, with lifted notes of crushed stones, toast, fresh cherries, a hint of black fruit, and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied, it has more tension, with fine tannins, mouthwatering, fresh acidity, and a lightly salty finish an underlying mineral note. It’s lovely. Drink 2025-2037."
