Owner/winemaker McPrice Myers explains the impetus behindthis wine: ‘"Sometimes you have to grab the bull by the horns,” is what myfather always told me when he smelled a challenge. Today my biggest challenge,and “Bull” so to speak, is Cabernet Sauvignon. I love crafting balanced,textured, decadent Cabernets. But the real challenge is: How do you make greatCabernet for an affordable price? My answer is … Bull by the Horns.’
And what an answer it is!
Obviously, the review caught our eye, but the true test wastasting… yowsa and wowsa! This overdelivers and then some!
Particularly compelling is the wine’s pure, classic CabernetSauvignon character. While abundant fruit is expected, what sets Cabernet Sauvignonapart as the “King” is its balancing “earthy” characteristics – fresh herbs,hint of anise and mint – and tannic structure. This baby delivers all in adelicious, succulent package, ready to drink now and over the next 5-7 years.
