Grapes from these 20-50 year-old vines are hand-harvested in small crates, then quickly transported to the winery for crushing, in order to preserve the bright aromatics and delicate floral notes that are synonymous with Albarino. Malolactic fermentation is blocked to ensure bright, zingy acidity. Don’t let all that zippy citrus fruit fool you, for beneath it all is a darn complex wine that changes throughout the consumption of the bottle! Of course, if you are inviting friends over, you are going to need more than one!
